Choose a race

The Seasons of Rothrock is a series of races in the Rothrock State Forest, showcasing the beauty of all four seasons through gravel and mountain bike racing. The first three races are held in spring and early summer, taking riders through Alan Seeger and Bear Meadows Natural Areas, Tussey Mountain, and Whipple Dam via challenging gravel roads and double-track trails. This year, we will also host a race in Greenwood Furnace State Park and award points for the Mid-Atlantic Super Series. The fourth session of the race occurs in December and requires traversing Tussey Mountain, which includes the well-known Three Bridges, on demanding single-track trails that are rocky and rooty. We celebrate the winter season during this event and get into the festive spirit by wearing holiday-themed attire and attaching bells to our bikes as a tribute to those who are unable to ride with us.

Gravel Races

Whipple Dam and Rothrock GRIT Gravel Grinder are spring and early summer gravel bike races that allow riders to experience Alan Seeger and Bear Meadows Natural Areas, Tussey Mountain, and Whipple Dam on challenging gravel roads and double-track trails.
